the four steps of the design cycle are investigate, plan, create, and evaluate.

they follow in that order because the first thing you always do is investigate what you're talking about. plan is the second thing you do because after you investigate you need to plan what you're going to do with the information. after you're done you obviously need to create your ideas and information so you can put it all into place. after you're done with the three steps you do the last one which is evaluate that's when you put it all together and find the mistakes that you made and you also find all the right things you made.
